#CastawayMusicFestival2019 comes to Tarlac City, Baliuag in Bulacan, and Rosales in Pangasinan this weekend

40,000 fans strong during the last weekend’s kick-off show of Castaway Music Festival 2019 at the Amphitheater of SM City Pampanga and the tour continues for the second week which will travel to the province of Tarlac, Bulacan, and in Pangasinan from March 22 to 24, 2019 respectively.

First stop will be in Tarlac City which will be held on Friday night. It will start around 8pm. It will be headlined by the pop rock princess, Ms. Yeng Constantino with hits such as “Salamat”, “Hawak Kamay”, “Ikaw” and “Cool Off”. Also, rock group December Avenue will be playing at the show. They’re behind the hits: “Sa Ngalan ng Pag-ibig”, “Kung Di Rin Lang Ikaw”, and their current single: “Dahan”. Another act on the lineup is Meg Fernandez, soloist who became a Youtube sensation with her cover of Up Dharma Down’s Tadhana, Barbie’s Cradle’s Tabing Ilog and Fix You by Coldplay. She now has over 1.7 Million views and more than 19,000 subscribers subscribers. She’s also the grand winner of Cornetto Ride To Fame contest in which she opened for Taylor Swift’s Red Tour concert in Manila back in June 2014. This Friday night, tickets are selling out! Next stop, on the beautiful province of Bulacan! Castaway returns to municipality of Baliuag and the lineup is no-joke, one of the best. Three iconic groups performs at SM City Baliwag this Saturday night. The Philippines’ premiere band, Side A – formed in 1985 by the brothers Rodel and Naldy Gonzalez. The group were behind the hits “Forevermore”, “Tell Me”, “Heart of Mine”. Another iconic group on the list, Freestyle. The band is famous for their songs “Before I Let You Go”, “So Slow”, “This Time” and “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang?”. Side A & Freestyle headlined sold-out shows in major venues such as Araneta Coliseum, Folk Arts Theatre, and The Ultra. Last but not the least, True Faith, headed by Medwin Marfil which was formed in 1991. They have become one of the Philippines’ most popular and accomplished bands. The group is also famous for the songs: “Huwag Na Lang Kaya”, “Dahil Ikaw”, “Paano Ka Magiging Akin”, “Araw’t Gabi” and a lot more. To cap-off the weekend, the #CastawayMusicFestival2019 tour heads back north as they bring it to Rosales in the province of Pangasinan! The show will be headlined by the Asia’s pop sweetheart and GMA recording artist, Ms. Julie Anne San Jose. She’s also the first-ever recipient of the Philippine Association of the Record Industry’s (PARI) Platinum Digital Single Award for the outstanding digital sales performance of her carrier single “I’ll Be There” with over 245,000 downloads. Julie Anne is also in the lead cast of Sunday night musical variety show on GMA Network, Studio 7 along with Christian Bautista and Mark Bautista. Another exciting act on the Rosales lineup is Aia De Leon. Former vocalist of rock group, Imago. She’s behind the hits: “Akap”, “Sundo”, “Taralets”. Aia De Leon won the Vocalist of the Year(2001) and Rock Female Icon of the Year(2005) at the legendary N.U Rock Awards. In April 2013, Aia left Imago to pursue her solo career. In July of that year, Aia auditioned for The Voice PH. She released her solo single “Tao Lang” in 2015. She was featured for a song with Silent Sanctuary entitled “Dambana” last year. Also, Rosales, Pangasinan get ready to rock with Sponge Cola! One of the most popular rock group in the country. The band is composed of Yael Yuzon on vocals, Gosh Dilay on bass, Armo Armovit on guitars and drummer Tmac Cruz. The group is known for the hits: “KLSP”, “Tuliro”, “Jeepney”, “Makapiling Ka”, “Wala Kang Katulad” and a lot more. Sponge Cola to release a new album called Sea of Lights which will be available starting next week, the band might perform some of their songs from Sea of Lights at #CastawayMusicFestival2019. The show will be held at the open parking lot of SM City Rosales. Gates will open 5pm and the show starts 8pm.
